Madrid.- El Sevilla, que se ha impuesto hoy en Varsovia al Dnipro ucraniano (3-2), ha hecho historia al convertirse en el equipo más laureado en la Copa de la UEFA/Liga Europa, al sumar su cuarto título, el segundo consecutivo.
El conjunto español ha logrado los cuatro en dos tandas. En la primera, en las temporadas 2005-06 y 2006-07, superó en las finales al Middlesbrough y al Espanyol.
El año pasado, en el Juventus Stadium de Turín, superó al Benfica luso en la tanda de penaltis tras acabar la final con empate a cero, y en esta ocasión se deshizo del Dnipro.
El Sevilla supera ahora en un título al Juventus, Inter Milán y Liverpool.
España domina el palmarés de esta competición con quince coronas, cuatro más que Inglaterra. Italia es tercera con diez y Portugal tiene dos.
